Package Holiday Reviews For The Natura Palace Hotel
Pool & Main Building of the Natura Palace

Natura Palace, Hotel, Playa Blanca

The Natura Palace Hotel is owned & operated by the Hipotels group. Located in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote the hotel offers a level of comfort that exceeds other hotels in the Canary Islands.

Marvel at the large reception & bar area as you enter the hotel for the first time. Sit in the bar and imagine how difficult it must have been, getting all the angles of the complex roof structure just perfect?

The Natura Palace has 269 large rooms & 2 exclusive seafront villas.

"Possibly The Last Visit"

As you can see from my previous review of the Natura Palace, we did enjoy it enough previously to return again 18 months later. I think that will be our last visit to the Natura Palace to be honest.

The hotel is only half full and this had led to some 'penny pinching' taking place. For starters, there is no air-conditioning in any public place, except the dining room in the evenings. Even the dining rooms air con at the Natura Palace goes off around 90 minutes before the end of service! Sitting in a stuffy bar and entertainment room in July is no joke!

Other cost reductions include the removal of fresh fruit at breakfast, it's available in the evenings, but not in the mornings. The weekly gala dinner has been discontinued despite being included in the tour operators particulars relating to the Natura Palace.

The entertainment is of a mixed standard, ranging from a 'Riverdance' show, which was good, down to 3 blokes showing a few birds and then cashing in on a photo shoot at the end of their 'show'. No entertainment at all on a Sunday, when you consider that this hotel is in a semi remote location, this is unacceptable to be honest.

21st centaury, and you still need to purchase access to the internet. They do have WiFi, but it's encrypted to deny holidaymakers the chance to connect. Well done the management of the Natura Palace for wrecking what was a good hotel. We returned this time, but don't count on us returning again!

"Good Hotel For Couples"

We bought this holiday as a late deal from the Thomson website and were not disappointed. The hotel is officially rated four stars, and it was well worth the money that we paid. It wasn't exactly a cheap holiday as last minute deals go, but it was well worth the money.

We have been to Lanzarote on many occasions since 1989 and I can honestly say that this hotel is the best of the bunch so far. We had a sea view and view of the pool from our room. The room itself was spacious and clean and had everything that we required to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The room had a shower, air conditioning, minibar, bath, hairdryer, twin beds and a television. If you wanted to use the minibar as a personal fridge there was a charge of nine euros per week.

The food at this hotel was a good quality and plentiful with show cooking in both the morning and evening dining sessions. Prices for drinks at the bar and in the restaurants were very reasonable.

The only area I can find fault with at this hotel is the standard of the evening entertainment which was a variable quality. Some shows were very good indeed, while others amounted to a karaoke session by a group of women. No entertainment was provided on a Sunday evening, which was a little disappointing from a four star hotel. When the evening show had concluded, the animation team would finish off evening by playing a selection of poor quality songs, which incredibly contained a number by Gary Glitter. Hardly family entertainment!

With the exception of the poor quality entertainment I would still recommend this hotel and return to it in the future.

"We Will Be Back"

Just arrived back from a weeks holiday in Lanzarote, at the Natura Palace Hotel in Playa Blanca.

The hotel is a four star hotel & well deserves all 4 stars. It is spacious, clean and very well run. The room we had was large & very comfortable.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Food was excellent.

The only downside, and a small one at that, was the evening entertainment, as it was little lacking and I would have prefered it to have started a little later, around 22.00, instead of 21.30. this would give you time to complete your meal in the dining room, without being rushed.

We will definitely be going back to the Natura Palace for a future holiday.
