Tivoli Marinotel, Vilamoura
This 5 star hotel is located in Vilamoura, just 14 miles from Faro Airport with a great waterfront location and stunning sea views.
A wide choice of bars and restaurants surround the marina along with the exciting nightlife.
For golfers, the hotel provides a courtesy bus service to all the nearby Vilamoura courses therefore it is not essential to hire a car.

Having been to the Marinotel once before, I decided to take my fiance Joanne and her daughter, 5 year old Lucy. Being Jo's first time abroad it was important to get her first trip right.
The Marinotel is fantastic for all ages and is sat in it's own huge grounds with tennis courts, palm trees and two outdoor lovely pools and a warm indoor one too.
The rooms are large and all have a balcony overlooking the Marina or the sea.
There is private access to the sandy beach which is just a few seconds walk through the hotel gardens.
The hotel is spotless and the staff are great and cant do enough to please the guests.
The breakfast is wonderful and you are truly spoilt for choice.
We spent our evenings either around the Marina, which comes to life as the sun goes down, or sat on the balcony with a drink watching the world go by.
As for Lucy, well she is only 5 and has not stopped talking about her holiday in the last six months. We are going back to the Marinotel in April 2006. We will arrange our own flights again and trawl the net for the best room rates.
Highly recommended, but do shop around for prices and pay per room NOT per person.
